Hamish Ridland presents Phil Merriam, who joined Camberwell in Minkey and played through the ranks to State League 1. Phil then moved into coaching with stints at TEM, Powerhouse and Footscray before moving to the AFL industry working in High Performance with Hawthorn Football Club and is currently head of Strength & Conditioning at Melbourne Football Club.
You'll hear how Phil got into hockey and played a role linking our generational players in the early 2000's. You'll hear the guys' memories of Jesse Foster and learn about Phil's instrumental role in establishing the Jesse Foster Cup which is played each year between TEM and Camberwell to highlight Men's Mental Health.
